I come home for christmas after 3 months away, all excited to put the decorations up and plan my mission to put up tacky foil ceiling decorations that i love but my mom hates! when i find that it was already done..the day before i came back! cheers family!
...although i do like the tree this year, its very colourful! miles away from my moms typical 'colour scheme'.And if your wondering what the massive glowing thing that looks like the inside of a tardis is,it is the last remaining santa light we have from a set we have had since we were little.A tradition!
One more thing....
THEY PUT UP THE TACKY FOIL DECORATIONS!! after what i think is nearly a decade of absence, i was a very happy girl!Ahhh the simple joys of christmas! :)
Anyway
see you soon :)

60's mod
This is from a photoshoot i did for my sister a couple of months ago where she was doing women through the ages. I really like the contrast of this look but it is definately more of a night look and can make any eyes appear larger and even more almond shaped, The key to this look is to make sure that the balance between sharp and soft is just right,by keeping the line shaping your lid crisp and fluent while blending a black shadow upwards slightly, maybe even add a little grey in to make it even smoother.
I used all high street products for this look ( mainly because i dont own anything high end like mac or nars, aside from my naked pallette which after lusting after for a year immedietly brought when my student loan came through).
White eyeshadow- White face powder from a contour pallette of ebay
Black eyeshadow- Mua, Superdrug
Mascara- Bourjoius clubbing mascara
Liquid eyeliner- Collection 2000 waterproof
I would recommened the eyeliner in the non- waterproof as the pigment is a lot better than the waterproof, which tends to flake off and become 'gappy'.Also a pair of falsies would give this look even more impact but i would stay away from the thick dramatic ones and stick to the more natural ones for the flirtatious look.
I shaped the line first by drawing a basic cat eye and the extending it around my lid, whack a bit of eyeshadow on and smudge and a slick of mascara and your good to go!
I added a slightly darker lip and extreme cheekbones for this as she wanted high contrast, but i would use very neutral shades for both just because it is already dramatic on its own.
Hope you enjoyed it
and any comments good or bad would be much appreciated, i want to hear from you and improve my newly formed blogging skills
see you soon :)
